Introducing the studio
Our dual expertise, skilled collaborators, and state-of-the-art equipment enable us to gild all materials and ensure the conservation and restoration of paintings and gilded surfaces with the utmost respect for the artwork.
Our company is the result of a tradition of excellent craftsmanship and a dynasty of gilders over three generations of Meilleurs Ouvriers de France (Best Craftsmen of France).
Pascal MEYER
At the Meyers', gilding with gold leaf runs in the family from father to son.
Pascal is also one of the Meilleurs Ouvriers de France, making him the third generation in this dynasty.
He learned his craft, which for him is both an art and a passion, from his father.
He then embarked on a tour of Europe, refining his skills, before further perfecting them in some of the most renowned restoration centers such as I. R. P. A and the Regional Restoration Center of Kerguehennec.
Eladia ARRIZABALAGA MEYER
Eladia, on the other hand, comes from a Spanish family that includes both jewelers and organ builders. Beauty here can only arise from precision and technical skill.
She also trained at the Institute for Art and Restoration of the Palazzo Spinelli, specializing in the restoration of paintings on canvas and wood.
In her first year of studies, she caught the attention of one of Florence's top restoration workshops. This collaboration with "Studio Amorosi" continues to this day.
